How do you describe a nation? Your land?
How does the identity change over time?
What kind of perceptions we have of a place, when all the visuals are removed?
These are some of the questions I pondered together with the composers of the installation.
Timo Lassy, Elia Lombardini, Marko Nynerg, Ringa Manner, Lau Nau, Sasu Ripatti selected an intrquing location in Finland they wanted to introduce, and then created a journey of contemporary soundscapes in Finland.
The work travels well and it’s available for international installations.
